“Clean room and kitchen ”

“Poor communication to enter the property, had to wait outside for 10 minutes in the night. The owner eventually came to open the door, but calls and text were not answered. The owner was very nice and once inside was responsive to texts. The room was very pretty as well. ”

“This was the worst hotel stay I have ever experienced. The rooms are NOT what are pictured here. When we arrived we were told our room was down the street. We were walked there by a hotel staff who showed us a door off the busy street, and down a dark and dirty flight of steps. The view is incredible, but it stops there. The room was dirty - the kitchen was beyond filthy with food splashed on the walls, an unlevel refrigerator, and a water container that looked unkept and unsafe. There……

“Sweet people and wonderful views made the stay worth it! Enjoyed the fridge and chilled water. Off the beaten trail (so quiet) but near really good food and pretty much everything within a 10 minute walk. The room we stayed in was a bit strangely laid out but very clean and had a strong fan over the bed - nice detail. Plants are beautiful but a bit on the over grown side. Pool could have used some attention and there were no full size hammocks but the chairs were great to watch the lake and……

“A lot of value for the money. Nothing fancy but a quarter price of some other hotels and I had my own private room and bathroom. The owners were very friendly and it was a good location.”

“The views were great but so are other properties that share that lake , I have to say the food there lacked rich seasoning and flavor , the dinner wasn’t great , before writing this review I waited to give breakfast a try and again was disappointed. So as far as the food they really need to improve. The hotel overall was clean good staff . But I believe this hotel is overhyped for what you end up experiencing.”

“Beautiful grounds and gardens. View from restaurant is stunning. Private parking was so helpful and provided peace of mind. Included breakfast is excellent! Rooms are adequate, but small. Beds were ok. Conveniently located to lake side park on one side and shops on the other. Restaurant food and service is very good! One of our favorite places on Lake Atitlan”

“Property is beautiful, the cabins and view are stunning the only downfall is the shared bathrooms but they do say it on their description so we took the risk. It’s a must place. If you see it take it you won’t regret it”
